About Us

The Adelaide Tree Surgery team has been providing professional and high quality tree management services to both private and corporate clients in Adelaide and South Australia since 2002.

The business is owned and managed by Mark Elliott and David Norton, who ensure all aspects of daily operation, safety and quality control are undertaken effectively and efficiently which ensures the best value outcomes for clients.

Mark, David and their work crews consistently aim to exceed customer expectations through the utilisation of the latest developments in industry best practices, technology, equipment and systems management.

Mark and David have both held a long standing passion for arboriculture and have always encouraged and supported ongoing staff training and development. All staff hold qualifications ranging from Diplomas of Arboriculture, Certificates of Horticulture and Arboriculture Certificates III to IV and are constantly kept up to date with advancements within the industry. Regular staff performance reviews are maintained across all work crews.

Keeping abreast of the many acts and regulations that govern the industry also protects clients and ensures compliance at all times and our qualified and experienced consultants are always happy to assist customers with advise and support in this area.

Working closely with customers and clients results in the best outcomes for them and most importantly, their valuable tree assets because well managed and maintained trees offer tremendous amenity and beauty to our environment. Our staffs passion for and broad experience in arboriculture ensures projects and contracts are completed within time frames and on budget, while at all times ensuring the quality and professionalism of services supplied are second to none.

Support of our own industry is also important. Managing Director Mark Elliott being regularly involved with the Executive of the South Australian Society of Arboriculture (http://www.treesa.biz/) and a member of the International Society of Arboriculture (http://isaac.org.au/). Both of these associations are important to The Adelaide Tree Surgery to ensure the values, technologies and successes within our industry continue to grow and be recognised.

Our Environment

The Adelaide Tree Surgery’s commitment to the environment is vital to its operation and as such ALL our activities undertaken by our work crews, machinery utilised and operations remain carbon neutral through our association with Trees for Life.

In addition, we have a commitment to recycle tree prunings & materials or value add salvageable materials to manage our waste minimisation programme and by reducing materials going to landfill.

Firewood and mulch can be left on site at the discretion of our client.
